Please download our app and follow the steps below to learn how to split a music file into intro and outro for a voice recording.
1. Import Files and Adjust Position
• Open Audio Editor and import the voice recording and music file. Each file will automatically be placed on its own track.
2. Split and Select Intro and Outro Sections
Long-press and drag the voice clip to adjust its position, leaving space for the intro;
• From the beginning of the music track, select the section you want to use as the intro and make the cut.
• Similarly, from the end of the music track, select the section you want to use as the outro and make the cut.
If the music file is too long, you can select the unwanted middle section, and click "Remove".
You can zoom in on the waveform when applying the fade effect for a more precise selection.
3. Adjust Fades and Crossfades
• Position the intro clip before the voice recording and the outro clip after it. Adjust the overlap between the end of the intro and the start of the voice recording, as well as the start of the outro and the end of the voice recording, to create a smooth transition. Apply a fade-out effect to the intro and a fade-in effect to the outro.
4. Preview and Export
• Preview the entire audio to ensure the transitions are smooth. Once satisfied, export the final audio file.
Tip:
• Fine-tuning the fades and overlaps will help achieve a seamless transition between the music and the voice recording.
